Installing Artemis PS3
Follow these steps to install and use Artemis PS3 VR6.3.1 on your PS3:
- Install it onto your PS3: The installation method depends on your PS3’s Custom Firmware (CFW/HEN). Follow the specific instructions for your CFW.
- Install cheat codes: You have two options for installing cheat codes:
- Using a Flash Drive:
- Create a folder on the root of your flash drive called USERLIST. Place any .ncl cheat code files into the USERLIST folder. Insert the flash drive into the right USB port on your PS3. Launch Artemis PS3 from the XMB.
- Using the Installation Directory:
- Launch an FTP server on your PS3 (such as MultiMan).Navigate to /dev_hdd0/game/ARTPS3001/USRDIR/USERLIST/.Place any .ncl files inside the USERLIST folder. Launch Artemis PS3 from the XMB.
- Using a Flash Drive:
- Launch Artemis PS3 from the XMB: Once launched, select the cheat codes you want to use.
- Press X on “Start” in the main menu: This will apply the selected codes.
- Confirmation Beep: You should hear a single beep if the codes were applied successfully. If you hear three beeps, MAMBA failed to install properly.
- Launch the game or homebrew: You can either launch the game directly or launch homebrew to mount the game.
- Attach codes: When the game is launched, a notification will appear telling you to press Start to attach the cheat codes.
- In-Game XMB: Press the PS button to open the in-game XMB. Hold the Start button until Artemis says it has attached the cheat codes.
- Constant Write Codes: Any codes set to constant write will begin working immediately once attached.
- Single Write Codes: For single write codes, re-enter the in-game XMB and hold Start to apply the codes again.
- Detach Codes: To detach (and stop constant writing), enter the in-game XMB and hold Select.
