CFW Extras Category v1.0.1 is an XMB mod that completely replaces your Network Category with custom items. It provides a collection of mods combined into one “new” category, with all XML files and icons stored in one place on the HDD, giving users full control over which components to install and where to install them.

What’s New in Version 1.0.1:
- Custom Network Replacement: The Network category is completely replaced with custom items, offering more flexibility and personalization.
- Mod Collection: A collection of mods bundled into a single “new” category, with all XML and icon files stored in one place for easier management and installation.
- Language Support: Translations included for Spanish, French, Italian, and German, based on system XMB settings. Other languages will default to English for now, with more languages planned for future updates.
- Streamlined Network and PSN Categories: The original network items have been moved to the PSN category, which has been renamed to “Network.” Unnecessary items have been cleaned up to improve the XMB’s usability.
Important Notice for Installation:
Before installing CFW Extras Category v1.0.1, ensure your device supports Custom Firmware (CFW) or Homebrew Enabler (HEN). Follow the typical installation procedure through the package manager, and make sure to back up any existing data before making modifications.
Installing Instructions
Please follow these steps:
For CFW (Custom Firmware):
- Make sure your device is running a compatible version of CFW.
- Install the update package using the usual method for CFW installations.
For HEN (Homebrew Enabler):
- HEN-compatible version installed.
- Install the package through the HEN installation procedure.
