HYBRID Manager v1.02 is another fork of Iris Manager, based on the original version 2.93 with added support for 4.65, pre-configured for Discless, and more aggressive settings for the fan controller.

What’s New in Version 1.02:

  • Updated language files: Added English and Spanish language support.

  • Japanese Standard buttons (CIRCLE): Option to switch between standard button behavior.
  • Disable Welcome/Splash Screen: Added option to disable the splash screen during startup.
  • User Interface Update: Minor adjustments made to BIG_COVERS_FX interface for better usability.
  • FTP Server Behavior: The FTP server is no longer pre-configured to start automatically after installation, preventing unnecessary startup warnings.

Important Installation Instructions:

To install HYBRID Manager v1.02, make sure to copy the cover in JPG format from multiMAN to the directory /dev_hdd0/game/HYBRIDMAN/covers for proper display in the application.

Installation Instructions

1. For CFW (Custom Firmware) Users:

  1. Ensure your PS3 is running a compatible version of Custom Firmware (CFW).
  2. Copy the .PKG file to a USB drive root folder.
  3. Plug the USB drive into your PS3 and navigate to the Package Manager in the XMB (Cross Media Bar).
  4. Install the package file from the USB drive.
  5. Once installed, go to the Game section in XMB and launch HYBRID Manager.
  6. Make sure you copy the cover image in JPG format from multiMAN to the folder "/dev_hdd0/game/HYBRIDMAN/covers" for proper cover display.

2. For HEN (Homebrew Enabler) Users:

  1. Ensure your PS3 is running a compatible version of Homebrew Enabler (HEN), which allows homebrew applications to be installed.
  2. Copy the HYBRID Manager v1.02 .PKG file to a USB drive.
  3. Insert the USB drive into your PS3 and navigate to Install Package Files under the Game menu.
  4. Install the HYBRID Manager v1.02 package.
  5. After installation, you will find HYBRID Manager in the Game section of the XMB. Launch the application.
  6. Copy the cover image in JPG format from multiMAN to the folder "/dev_hdd0/game/HYBRIDMAN/covers" for the correct display of the cover.

Important Notes:

  • The FTP Server is not pre-configured to start automatically after installation. If you’re experiencing issues with FTP or any warnings related to it, you can manually configure or disable it in the settings.
  • The HYBRID Manager is pre-configured to work with CFW and supports MAMBA for users on CFW with that version.

Once the application is installed, you can enjoy the new features and improvements, such as updated language files, customization options, and other user interface enhancements. including language support and improved fan settings!
