Iris Manager v3.00 is a port of Hermes Manager based on PSLIGHT, Tiny3D, PS3Soundlib, and OpenPS3FTP. It is a completely legal open-source manager made with Homebrew tools, supporting various custom firmware versions.

Installation Instruction for CFW & HEN
Follow these steps based on your PS3 setup, whether you’re using Custom Firmware (CFW) or Homebrew Enabler (HEN):
For CFW (Custom Firmware):
- Ensure Your PS3 is Running Compatible CFW:
- Verify that your PS3 is running a compatible version of Custom Firmware (CFW) such as 3.41, 3.55, 4.21, 4.30, 4.46, 4.50, 4.53, 4.55, 4.60, 4.70, 4.75, or 4.76-4.91. You can check your PS3’s firmware version in the settings menu.
- Mount dev_blind:
- Before proceeding with the installation, you must mount
dev_blind
. This is essential to avoid errors during installation (error code: 8001003A). - You can do this through file management tools like Multiman or by accessing your PS3 through FTP.
- Before proceeding with the installation, you must mount
- Download Iris Manager v3.00:
- Download & Extract on your computer desktop or any specific location
- Install the Package File:
- Transfer the
.PKG
file to your PS3’s external USB drive root folder. - Connect the USB drive to your PS3 and navigate to the Package Manager.
- Select and install the your package file.

- Launch application:
- Once installed, go to the XMB (XrossMediaBar) and find the Iris Manager icon in the Game menu.
- Select the IR Manager icon to launch the program and start managing your PS3 games.
For HEN (Homebrew Enabler):
- Ensure You Are Using a Compatible HEN Version:
- Make sure your PS3 is running a HEN version that supports the installation of homebrew applications, such as HEN 4.91 or later.
- Mount dev_blind:
- Similar to CFW installations, you will need to mount
dev_blind
to prevent errors during installation.

- Download & Extract on your computer desktop or any specific location
- Install the Package File:
- Transfer the
.PKG
file to a USB drive, placing it in theUSB Root
directory. - Plug the USB drive into your PS3, and go to Package Manager in the Game menu.
- Select the .PKG file and install it.

- After the installation completes, locate the Iris Manager icon on your XMB and press the icon to open it.
