It’s same as PexPloit lite but MuxPort is little different of PexPloit. ย PexPloit helps you to install the PS3 game on OFW version without Jailbroken your console. MuxPort 2.1.0 same work as PexPloit lite. But MuxPort is little different. This software has some extra features. This software allows you to install PS3 PKG game with Edat file. This software load automatically Edat file for all PS3 C00 Games.
MuxPort suggests you install Edat file manually. If PS3 PKG C00 Game does not have Edat file. Then MuxPort during installation suggests you install PS3 Game Edat file manually. Then you just need a create an Edat file and add it to your game during installation PKG file on OFW. So, as I do in my all articles. Cover all the major question answers. A: Yes, you need a backup file from your console. Because MuxPort installs PS3 PKG C00 Games on your PS3 Backup file. Then you can load the backup file and enjoy all installation PS3 game on your PS3 OFW 4.81 version.

A: Yes, you can install multiple PS3 games. But you should have a larger space USB stick. If you want to install Dragon Ball Z and Farcry 4. Then you need a big space USB stick or external hard disk.
How to install PS3 games using MuxPort?
- Make a backup file from your PlayStation 3 console.
- Plug your USB stick into your computer.
- Extract MuxPort downloaded file on your computer desktop using unzipper.
- Go to the extracted folder and run MuxPort with the administrator.
- Select folder with PS3 backup.
- Decompressed PS3 PKG C00 Games to using PKG Viewer.
- Select folder with decompressed PKG games folder.
- Select Edat file. If PS3 PKG C00 Games do not load automatically Edat file.
- Add game to list. (If you want to add PS3 Multiple games then you can freely add)
- Now Start and wait for finish installation.
- Go to extracted MuxPort folder.
- Find the Complete folder
- Rename the Complete folder to Complete_Backup
- Delete your backup file from your USB stick.
- Create root folder. PS3ย > EXPORTย > BACKUPย > MuxPort1
- Copy backup file from Complete_Backup folder and put it to USB stick inside MuxPort1 folder.
- Plug your USB stick into your PlayStation 3 console.
- Go to the Setting tab.
- Select System Setting > Backup Utility > Restore
- Follow the screen introduction.
If you console restarts successfully after restoring PS3 backup file which you create from your computer using Mux Port. Then you can see the changes on your console. Find your installed PS3 games on games tab. Those games will never ask you to license files. Because we already Patch Edat “Licence” file with the game during installation.
