Sony’s new update 4.89 for PlayStation 3 system removed creating new PlayStation Network (PSN) accounts and some other minor changes. 1. Extract required zip files on your computer desktop or any specific folder.
2. Plug your USB drive on your PC and format with FAT32.
3. Create root folder PS3>UPDATE
4. Put your renamed (PS3UPDAT.PUP) updated HFW 4.89 file into the UPDATE folder.
5. Plug your USB drive on your PS3 second port which is close to Blu-Ray drive.
6. Disable Automatic Update and Display what’s new from PS3 setting.
7. Go to Update and follow the screen introduction.
8. Open your internet browser and visit PS3Xploit website. (You can operate PS3Xploit (HTML files) from your PC but website is easy to use and save your time)
9. Delete browser cookies, search history, Cache, and authentication information.
10. Go to PS3HEN and press X on HEN Installer/Enabler
11. A Small file named PS3HEN.p3t will download automatically on your PS3 system.
12. Press O to back and click on Initializing HEN installer.
13. Once your system accepts the exploit you’ll see a success message “HEN Installer Initialized Successfully”
14. Press X on Install HEN and a popup message will appear on your screen about javascript.
15. Press X to accept (YES)
16. Press O and come back to the main menu and PS3HEN PKG file downloading and installing will start automatically.
17. Turn off your PS3 system manually and turn it on after 2 minutes.
18. You’ll see enable HEN on your PS3, Press X to enable HEN.
