SuiteApp is a notepad application for your PS3. It’s a work-in-progress project designed to improve document viewing and provide more features for jailbroken PS3 users. SuiteApp is based on the PSL1GHT SDK and is a port of the earlier TXT reader. The app is evolving, with future features planned. For now, it allows easy document browsing and reading with a variety of customizable settings.

What’s New in Version 0.2:
- Easy GUI: Simplified interface with future improvements planned.
- File Browser: Navigate documents easily with the new file browser.
- Fast Reading: Supports large files (e.g., 2GB) with no delays in reading.
- 299 Supported File Formats: Supports various formats, but no PDF, DOC, or CHM yet.
- Customizable Appearance: 11 background colors and 13 font colors available for personalization.
- Adjustable Font Size: Font size can be adjusted via the settings page.
- Adjustable Screen Lines: Set the number of lines displayed on the screen via the settings page.
- Render PDF & PNG: Option to render the screen into a PDF or PNG file. PDF files are saved in “/dev_hdd0/suiteapp.pdf” and PNG files in “/dev_hdd0/game/SUIT11111/PNG/”.
- Return to File Browser: Easily return to the file browser by pressing R3 in document mode.
Note:
Render SVG files are working but were not included in this version.
Note 2: To exit document mode, press Select. Exiting from the XMB is possible but Select is faster.
Installing Instruction :
- For CFW (Custom Firmware):
- Ensure that your PS3 is running a compatible version of Custom Firmware (CFW).
- Mount dev_blind on your device before attempting installation. If you skip this step, you may encounter an error during installation (error code 8001003A).
- Once dev_blind is mounted, simply install SuiteApp v0.2 as you would any other .pkg package file.
- For HEN (Homebrew Enabler):
- Ensure you are using a version of Homebrew Enabler (HEN) that supports the installation of homebrew applications.
- Mount dev_blind before installation to prevent any potential errors.
- Proceed with the installation through the regular package manager used for installing homebrew apps on your PS3.
After installation, you will be able to enjoy the various features of SuiteApp, including document viewing, fast reading, customizable settings, and more!
